The work began with a graphite underdrawing to map out the intricate architectural details and perspective of the scene.
This foundational layer ensured structural precision before I transitioned into paint, building layers of colour to enhance the overarching sense of stillness I aim to convey in the final piece.
Inspired by the Chicken Rock Lighthouse in the Isle of Man. The composition was reimagined through stylization.
